Write the following points in an environmental way and straight forward: - Check that rainwater flows around work areas and are not contaminated - Check that dirty water is kept from clean water - Maintenance activities shall not lead to undue damage

- Ensure rainwater flows freely around work areas and remains uncontaminated. - Maintain separation between dirty and clean water sources. - Conduct maintenance activities without causing damage, blockages, or disruption to drainage lines or stormwater channels, and avoid concentrating stormwater into erosive channels. - Remove sediment from drainage channels, culverts, and pipes as needed to prevent blockages and erosion damage to roadways. - Address significant erosion in drainage lines or stormwater channels by implementing water-slowing measures, such as temporary straw bales, sandbags, permanent gabion weirs, and stabilized overflows. - Immediately repair any erosion channels on site by backfilling with appropriate materials and stabilizing to prevent future issues. - Reinstate vegetation that has been washed away or damaged due to erosion once the area has been stabilized. - Maintain stabilization measures, such as grass blocks, in good condition. Prohibit dumping of materials or waste in stormwater channels, drainage lines, or their buffer zones. - Regularly remove litter or foreign materials from these areas (at least monthly) while minimizing disturbance to vegetation and stability. - Treat any fuel, oil, or chemical spills promptly with appropriate absorbent or bioremedial products as directed to prevent runoff contamination.
