Okay, so here’s the funny thing that happened. We’ve been having these crazy power outages, and I really needed to charge my gadgets. I noticed my neighbor had his generator running that night, so I thought, “Perfect! I’ll just pop over and ask him to help me charge my phone.” But when I knocked on his door, no one answered. I knocked and knocked, but it was like he was in another world! I was getting super frustrated and thought, “Fine, if he’s not going to let me in, then his generator can’t be running either.” So, in a moment of “why not”, I went to his backyard and did something really wild—I turned off the fuel regulator for his generator! After a while, it shut off, and I just stood there feeling a mix of triumph and guilt. I mean, I couldn’t get my phone charged, but at least he wouldn’t have power either! It was a ridiculous thing to do, but in that moment, it just felt right. Sometimes you just have to laugh at the lengths we go to when we can't handle a little inconvenience, right?
