On my sky q and my sky on sky tv, it says I am setup for ultra HD and my sky account already yours
If your Sky Q box and Sky TV account indicate that you are set up for Ultra HD but you are experiencing issues or have questions regarding its functionality, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot or verify your setup:
1. **Check Your Subscription**: Ensure that your Sky package includes Ultra HD content. You may need to subscribe to a specific plan that offers UHD channels.
2. **HDMI Connection**: Make sure that your Sky Q box is connected to your TV via an HDMI cable that supports 4K Ultra HD. Not all HDMI cables support the necessary bandwidth for UHD.
3. **TV Settings**: Verify that your TV is set to the correct input and that any special settings for UHD or HDR (High Dynamic Range) are enabled. Check your TV’s manual for instructions on how to set this up.
4. **Update Your Sky Q Box**: Ensure that your Sky Q box has the latest software updates. You can usually check for updates in the settings menu.
5. **Check Content Availability**: Not all content is available in Ultra HD. Make sure that you are trying to watch content that is available in 4K.
6. **Network Connection**: A stable and fast internet connection is essential for streaming Ultra HD content. An internet speed of at least 25 Mbps is typically recommended.
7. **Reboot the Box**: Sometimes, simply rebooting your Sky Q box can resolve temporary issues.
8. **Contact Sky Support**: If you continue to have issues after checking these items, consider reaching out to Sky customer support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance related to your account and setup.
