I have got sky tv , sky cinema, sky sports, on my sky q, all in HD but how can I get even better than HD for all channels on sky q but my tv doesn't support uhd

If your TV doesn't support UHD (Ultra High Definition) but you want to improve your viewing experience, there are a few options to consider, although it's important to note that you won't be able to achieve better than HD quality on a TV that doesn't support UHD. However, here are some tips to maximize your current setup: 1. **Ensure HD Settings are Optimized**: Check your Sky Q settings to ensure it is set to the highest available resolution. Navigate to Settings > Setup > Video Resolution and ensure it is set to 1080p. 2. **Use Quality HDMI Cables**: Make sure you are using high-quality HDMI cables. While this won’t change the resolution, it can help with signal quality. 3. **Calibrate Your TV Settings**: Adjust the picture settings on your TV for the best possible quality. This may include tweaking contrast, brightness, color, and sharpness settings. 4. **Consider an External UHD Upscaler**: If you're particularly interested in improving picture quality, you could investigate external devices that upscale HD content to a higher quality. Some devices, like advanced Blu-ray players or streaming boxes, might offer this feature, but the improvement will depend on the capabilities of your TV. 5. **Upgrade Your TV**: The most straightforward way to get UHD content is upgrading to a UHD-compatible TV. This way, you can fully benefit from the UHD broadcasts available on Sky Q. 6. **Enhance Audio Quality**: While it’s not a resolution improvement, consider investing in a good sound system or soundbar to boost your overall viewing experience. 7. **Watch Content that is Optimized for HD**: Ensure you're watching films and shows produced in high-quality HD, as some content may not be optimized for the best possible viewing experience. While these steps may enhance your viewing experience, the resolution ultimately is limited by your TV's capabilities. Upgrading your TV would be the most effective way to enjoy UHD content.
