Every time I play games in handheld mode, on my Nintendo switch getting warm when playing games do I need replace the standard Joy-Con controllers with new ones to fix the problem

It's normal for the Nintendo Switch to feel warm during handheld mode, especially when playing more demanding games. Both the console and the Joy-Con controllers can generate some heat during extended use, but this is generally not a cause for concern. Here are a few things you can consider: 1. **Ventilation:** Make sure your Switch is in a well-ventilated area and not covered by any blankets or cushions that could restrict airflow. 2. **Environmental Temperature:** Playing in a warm environment can contribute to overheating. Try playing in a cooler place. 3. **Extended Playtime:** If you’re playing for long periods, give the console a break occasionally to cool down. 4. **Software Updates:** Ensure your Switch and games are updated to the latest versions, as updates can improve performance and efficiency. 5. **Joy-Con Issues:** If the Joy-Con controllers are experiencing connectivity issues or abnormal behavior (e.g., drift), you might want to consider replacing them. However, this is not typically related to the warmth you feel when playing. If the warmth seems excessive or if you notice other issues (like performance drops or unexpected shutdowns), it may be a good idea to contact Nintendo support for further assistance. Replacing the Joy-Con controllers solely due to warmth without other problems may not be necessary.
