If communities perceive NADMO as ineffective, it can lead to a lack of collaboration and community support during emergencies. Negative media coverage can amplify these perceptions. Despite these criticisms, it's important to recognize that disaster management is a complex field, and challenges often stem from systemic issues rather than the failings of a single organization. Moreover, NADMO has made efforts in various areas, and improvements can be made to strengthen its role in Ghana's disaster management landscape. Addressing the aforementioned challenges may enable NADMO to enhance its effectiveness in future disaster response and management efforts.
