The Good Princes of Daedra

In the context of "The Elder Scrolls" series of video games, the term "Daedra" refers to powerful, supernatural beings from the realm of Oblivion. While many Daedra are often depicted as malevolent or troublesome, there are certain Daedric Princes who are considered "Good" or at least more benevolent in their intentions and actions. Among these, the most prominent is **Meridia**, the Daedric Prince of Light and Life. She is known for her opposition to undead creatures and her desire to promote purity and the eradication of darkness. Another notable figure could be **Azura**, the Daedric Prince of Dusk and Dawn, who is often associated with fate, prophecy, and the cycle of life. Azura is often seen as a more benevolent force, especially in helping mortals. **Hermaeus Mora**, while often associated with knowledge and memory (and thus can be seen as both good and evil), is sometimes viewed favorably by those seeking to uncover hidden truths, especially when compared to the destructiveness of other Daedric entities. Conversely, Daedric Princes like Molag Bal or Sheogorath are typically viewed as malevolent or chaotic, making them less favorable. It's important to note that the moral alignment of Daedric Princes can be subjective depending on individual perspectives and cultural interpretations within the lore of "The Elder Scrolls" universe. Each Prince has their own motives, philosophies, and methods, leading to a complex understanding of what is considered "good" or "evil" among them.
