Throughout the semester studying ethics and morality, one phrase stuck with me: "Do good and be good." Our teacher, Sir Cloma, often reminded us to ask ourselves, "Is it the right thing to do?" After covering all the topics in class, I understood why he emphasized this phrase. It helps to clarify the main idea of each subject we discussed. Essentially, asking ourselves if something is the right thing to do guides our thinking and decision-making when it comes to choosing what is ethical and moral.
