In this qualitative research study, the population consists of teachers, school administrators, and educational technology specialists involved in Tolibr Primary School in the Lawra Municipality. The focus is on understanding how technology is utilized to enhance teaching methods and improve student engagement within this specific educational context. The primary participants include roughly 10-15 teachers from varying subjects, including mathematics, sciences, language arts, and social studies. This diversity ensures a comprehensive exploration of technology use across different disciplines. These educators, who possess varying levels of experience and familiarity with technological tools, provide rich insights into their perceptions and practices. Their professional backgrounds and personal experiences of integrating technology into their pedagogical approaches significantly shape the data gathered. Additionally, two school administrators—such as the headteacher and a deputy headteacher—are crucial to the study as they offer perspectives on the overall educational policies, resource allocation, and the vision for technology integration within the school. Their views will illuminate the challenges and successes faced in the pursuit of enhancing educational delivery through technological means. Moreover, the involvement of one or two educational technology specialists adds another dimension to the study. These individuals provide technical support and training to educators, making them invaluable for understanding the practical aspects of technology implementation. Their insights will help to identify the available technologies, the adequacy of training provided to teachers, and the overall efficacy of these tools in improving teaching and learning outcomes. To obtain in-depth qualitative data, semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions will be employed. This method allows participants to share their experiences, opinions, and challenges openly, fostering an environment conducive to rich qualitative insights. This diverse population creates a comprehensive framework for examining the multifaceted role of technology in educational delivery. Overall, the selection of this study population—teachers from various subjects, school administrators, and educational technology specialists—facilitates a nuanced understanding of technology’s role in enhancing teaching practices. Their collective experiences and insights will be fundamental in illuminating the complexities and potential benefits of technology in fostering effective educational environments in Tolibr Primary School.
