In the qualitative research project examining the role of technology in enhancing teachers' delivery at Tolibr Primary School in the Lawra Municipality, a purposive sampling approach was adopted to ensure that the participants selected were most relevant to the research objectives. The sample size consisted of 15 individuals, meticulously chosen to include a diverse representation of the school’s faculty and administrative staff, which included nine teachers across various subjects and grade levels, two school administrators, and four parents of students attending the school. This combination aimed to capture a holistic understanding of the impact of technology on teaching practices from different perspectives. The rationale behind selecting 15 participants was informed by the principle of saturation, where the aim was to gather in-depth insights until no new themes or information emerged. The teachers were chosen based on their varying levels of experience with technology in the classroom, thus allowing for a rich exploration of both novice and experienced educators’ perceptions. Moreover, the inclusion of school administrators provided an organizational perspective on technology integration and its implications for curriculum delivery, professional development, and resource allocation. Engaging parents was essential to understand how technology not only affects teaching but also facilitates parental involvement in their children’s learning processes. Each participant held semi-structured interviews lasting approximately 45 to 60 minutes, enabling them to elaborate on their experiences and perceptions of technology in the educational context. The study's qualitative nature prioritized depth over breadth; therefore, the sample size was deemed adequate for achieving comprehensive insights into the complex dynamics at play. Additionally, by involving a range of stakeholders, the research aimed to validate findings through triangulation, ensuring a richer context of the role technology plays in educational delivery. This multi-faceted sampling strategy ultimately sought to shed light on the overarching theme of technological influence on teaching methodologies and learning outcomes at Tolibr Primary School, thereby contributing valuable knowledge to the broader discourse on educational technology in similar rural settings.
